Diversity continued

Ok so my pictures posted without my commentary. The first student is Sade. She is a student in my class. She is diverse because of her family. She has had to deal with several family members in jail. She has known several family members to be arrested from everything to minor offenses to felonies. The second photo is of Keosha. She is a diverse student because she is one of the few students that wants to go to college. She wants to be a pediatrician and become something that nothing in her family has been. She also loves to dye her hair fun colors to show her creativity. Seance is the third student. He is a special education student. He is very bright, however, and has shown so much potential. I am so proud of him! The last student is Otis. He is into sports. He plays on the football team and also runs track. He plans to play for the University of Miami. He is one of the few athletes that I have in my classes. Diversity at my school has to be more than color. The majority of my school is African American students. I have enjoyed getting to know more about my students by doing this project.
